Carmine John Palermo has gone home to Jesus to join the rest of his family at the age of 89 years old. Carmine was known as “Bobby” to his loved ones.

Bobby was the married to Louisa Marie for 65 years before her pasting, Their legacy is four children,10 grandchildren and lots of great-grandchildren. They believed in family and were loved by them.

Carmine John Palermo was a first generation Italian-American. Carmine went to Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx. He stated “Cardinal Hayes set the framework for his life.” Carmine attended Fordham University to earn his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and then became a Registered Pharmacist.

Carmine was successful businessman and owner of "Block Drug Store” serving the East Village of New York City for 35 years. CJP was a talented artist and accomplished writer. He won multiple Audubon Artist Awards “depicting the life of Jesus Christ.”

There will only be a Funeral Mass to honor him at Saint Catharine's Church in Blauvelt, NY on Wednesday, February 2nd at 10am. COVID- 19 precautions will be followed with wearing a mask covering from the nose to the chin and social distancing minimum of 6 feet.
