Obituary

Albert Piscitelli, 92, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2023.  Albert was born in the Bronx and lived in Blauvelt for 57 years.  He was predeceased by his loving wife, Catherine, as well as his daughter Janet.

Albert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He began his career as an accountant, but discovered a love and talent for the diamond industry.  He was a lifelong diamond expert and his career gave him great joy.

He loved to travel and was a wonderful cook.  He enjoyed sharing Italian traditions and memories with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Up until the end of his life, he was successfully solving word and number puzzles.

Albert is survived by his three daughters Regina (Rich), Phyllis (Gordie), and Mariann (Ron).  He had twelve beautiful grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.  He was a loving brother, uncle and friend to so many.  Al will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
