Alfonse M. Marchese Jr., age 87, passed away on April 1, 2026. He was born on March 31, 1939 in the Bronx, NY to Rose and Alfonse Marchese. He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years Joan MArchese, his children Rose (predeceased) Gregg and Terri, their spouses and his beloved grandchildren Joshua, Sofia, Logan, and Ava.
He was a lifetime member of Local Union 638, where he was a graduate apprentice and worked as a journeyman steamfitter for forty years. His greatest love in life was his family.
A memorial visitation will be held at Moritz Funeral Home in Closter, NJ on Friday April 10th from 4-6 PM with a service at 5:30 PM.
