Bryant Geoffrey Mellett, 36, of Dumont NJ died in his sleep Wednesday, November 9, 2022. Bryant attended and graduated (2007) from Norman A. Bleshman Regional Day School in Paramus and was currently attending Camp Acorn Mighty Oaks Day Hab program in Mahwah. Bryant lit up every room he entered with his infectious smile that could turn any frown upside down. His hugs were legendary and his affectionate personality landed him a friend everywhere he went. He travelled to Lourdes, France in 2015 and 2019 with The American Special Children's Pilgrimage Group (ASCPG). He is survived by his loving and devoted mother and father Maureen and Geoffrey, his sister Breanne and his nephew DJ. His loving extended family, uncles Tom (Kathy) Oettinger of Lake Worth, FL, Paul (Anna) Oettinger of St. Cloud, FL, Jimmy (Lindsay) Oettinger of Closter, NJ, George (Kathleen) Millett, 10 cousins, and 10 cousins once removed, will miss him dearly. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 15, between the hours of 3 - 7pm at Moritz Funeral Home in Closter, NJ, with a 10am Funeral Mass on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at St. Therese of Lisieux Church in Cresskill, NJ.
