Carolyn McErlean of Blauvelt NY died at home on March 15, 2025.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1934 to Sylvester Moore and Anna Schlott Moore and grew up surrounded by a community of aunts, sisters and her all female cousins. Carolyn graduated from Prospect Heights High School where she studied fashion. She worked in the electronics industry for many years, but her main passions were always her family and the crafts she so loved to do, especially her doll houses and miniatures.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years David McErlean and her devoted sisters Joan Mascari and Catherine Edersheim. She is survived by her children, Paul McErlean, Cathy McErlean-Goddard, and Lynda McErlean, grandchildren Kate Goddard, Douglas McErlean, Yuri Goddard, and Sarah McErlean, her Sister Ann Moore, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who she kept close to throughout her 90 years.
