It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Diane L. Plate of Orangeburg, NY who left us on February 22, 2025 at the age of 92.

Diane was born on September 22, 1932 in Kingston, NY. While growing up in Teaneck, NJ, Diane met her childhood sweetheart, Fred. They married in November 1953 and moved to Orangeburg where they raised their family. She loved them dearly. Her legacy will live on.

Diane is predeceased by her husband, Fred, and her daughter, Carolyn.

Diane is survived by her children; Deborah (Greg), David (Cathy) and Jeanne (Kevin); eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Ellamae Magnan and many nieces and nephews.

A private family gathering will be held at Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan. A Funeral Mass will be held at Thursday, 10:30am, at St. Catharine's Church in Blauvelt, NY with burial to follow at Tappan Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arc of Rockland .
