Donald Patrick Cinque Sr., affectionately known as "Pa-Pa", passed away peacefully at home on January 5, 2026 surrounded by his family. Born in Manhattan, Donald was raised in Brooklyn.

He is survived by his devoted wife Marie (née Fichter). They were married on August 5, 1967 at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church in the Bronx. Living in Canarsie, they brought five children in the world. Donald established himself as a devout Catholic. At the Holy Family Church in Canarsie, he was a lector and worked the Bingo Hall on Fridays where his sons often helped. Moving to Rockland County in 1983, Donald was a lector at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Orangeburg where he also open the church for Mass on Sunday afternoons. He donated his time at the Sisters of Charity in Nanuet tending to their needs. Originally a Wall Street banker, Donald was a hard worker.

Pa-Pa's life was his family and besides his wife he is survived by his children, Michael (Pam), Antionette, Christopher (Michele) and Thomas (Kristen). He predeceased by his son Donald Jr. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brittany, Christina, Rachel, Andrew, Alexa, Gianna, Jessica, AJ, Christopher, Nicholas and Jack; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Dominick, Roman, Lucia and Lydia.

He will be remembered for his smile, jokes and enthusiasm for life.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 10th, 10am at the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Tappan, NY.
