Douglas Allen Davis, 62, of Nanuet, NY, passed away peacefully on October 10th in Nyack, NY. Born on March 31, 1962, in Jackson, Michigan, Doug was the son of Marvin Davis and Sharon Donahue VanderVeen.

Doug spent his life bringing joy to those around him, known for his kind heart and warm sense of humor. He cherished the simple pleasures in life, finding beauty in moments spent with family and loved ones. His gentle spirit touched everyone he met.

He is survived by his mother Sharon Donahue VanderVeen; his loving partner of 26 years, Barbara Salerno; his wonderful stepdaughter, Jennifer Salerno-Albergo, and her husband, Cameron Albergo. His greatest delight, however, was being a grandfather to his precious granddaughter, Ella Jade Albergo, the light of his life.

Doug's passing leaves a void in the hearts of his family and friends, but his memory will forever be cherished by those who knew him.

A celebration of Doug's life will be held at a later date (details to follow) where friends and family are invited to share their fondest memories and say their final goodbyes.
