Edward Vincent Sullivan Jr., 83, of Closter, passed away peacefully on December 25th, 2023, after a yearlong battle with pancreatic cancer. Edward was the son of Jeannette Marie Faganand Edward Vincent Sullivan Sr. Born in Passaic, NJ on August 14th, 1940, Edward was an amazing man who started his electrical contracting business in 1966 after serving in the US Army during the Vietnam war. He had an incredible work ethic, he was kind, generous, intelligent, empathetic, and loved his work and his family. Edward was a proud Elk, a member of Closter Lodge No. 2304. He is preceded in death by his son Dylan and brother Drew. He is survived by his beloved wife Paola, daughter Anna, and son Bryan, as well as by his siblings Janis, Dennis, Mimi, and Erin, granddaughters Emily, Melissa, Jennifer and great granddaughters Vienna, and Eliza. May he rest in peace. Contributions in the memory of Edward in leu of flowers may be made to the Lustgarten foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research or any cancer charity or foundation of your choosing.A celebration of life will be held in late spring.
