Fernando A. Pangilinan Jr., 74, of Mahwah, NJ , passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family and loved ones on March 10, 2024.

Fernando, know to his friends and family as 'Junior,' 'Tanoy' or simply 'Mr. P.' was born in Santa Cruz, Manilla, Philippines. He studied accounting and obtained his degree at the University of the East in the Philippines.

He came to the United States with his brother, Florante, in 1971 and settled in New York City in 1973. He met and married Araceli Portugues. They settled in Orangeburg, NY and proceeded to have two children, Michelle and Marsha.

He was an accountant for 51 years at William H. Muller Shipping Corp. in Valley Stream, NY. Being an avid bowler, he was a member of the Philippine Bowling League for many years. Fernando had a passion for cars, shoes and cooking. He was best known for his lumpia and nilaga.

In 2007, Fernando married Fritzie (Bicoy). They settles in Mahwah, NJ. They were happily married for 17 years. He retired in in 2023. Fernando enjoyed spending time with his family, always spoiling those around him especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Fritzie; his daughters Michelle Harrison (Malik) and Marsha Keating (Jeffrey); and his three grandchildren, Khloe, Sebastian and Kassandra.
