George Richard Cerbasi Sr. (Murphy) 90 years of Westwood. Formally of Norwood. Predeceased by beloved wife Joan. Loving Father of Bernice (Michael), George Jr. (Marie), Michele (Kevin), Gary (Marily), and Daryl (Jean Marie). Cherished Poppy of Thomas Jr., Trista, Brianna, Danielle, Lily, and Jessica. Great grandfather to Kira, Nicoletta, and Ava. Dear brother of Marilyn Rouvrais and will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Life member of Norwood Fire Company #1 for 66 years. Also loved hunting, fishing, and playing softball where he pitched for many years. Avid fan of the Yankees and NY Giants. A proud Army Veteran.
Our Dad favorite saying was, “another conversation going nowhere!” With a big smile and hands up in the air.
Visitation Sunday 3-8 PM at Moritz Funeral Home Closter, NJ.
Mass Monday10 AM at Immaculate Conception Norwood, NJ. Followed by Burial at Mount Carmel Cemetery Tenafly, NJ.
