Gloria Schneider, aged 95, passed away on November 16, 2024, in Closter, New Jersey. Born on July 4, 1929, in New York City,Gloria had a rich and fulfilling life marked by her deep spiritual belief and love for nature, particularly birds, often expressing that "when you believe in nature, you believe in God."

Gloria attended Memorial High School in West New York, NJ, and pursued a career that reflected her nurturing spirit. She worked as a massage and Reiki therapist for over 25 years before transitioning to a caretaker for older adults, a role she embraced until the physical demands led her to retire. Her own experiences in later years mirrored the care she once provided, highlighting the cycle of giving and receiving that she deeply valued.

She was a congregant of the Reformed Church of Closter, NJ, and the United Methodist Church in Demarest, NJ, where she no doubt enriched the community with her kindness and caring nature.

Gloria's hobbies included birdwatching, knitting, watching Hallmark movies (she loved the happy endings), and solving wordsearch puzzles. All these activities brought her joy and tranquility. She is survived by her sister Anita; her son Michael and daughter-in-law Cindy Bronen; her son Joseph; her daughters Carol and Mary Ann; her grandchildren Aaron and Rachel Schneider, and Cassidy and Taline Khatcherian; and her two great grandchildren Maya and Simone Quach-Dao.

A private service for the immediate family will be held to honor Gloria's life and legacy. Her memory will be cherished as all who knew her as a symbol of love, caring, and spiritual faith.
