Hans G. Petersen, 84, of Norwood, NJ passed away on Tuesday, November 11th surrounded by his family. Hans was born in Flensburg, Germany and relocated to the United States in the early 1970's. Hans was an electrical engineer for Volkswagon of America for over 30 years.  Hans was a past master and active member of Harmony Lodge #199 up until his passing. He was an avid sailor and enjoyed any opportunity to take his wife Ingrid and his family out on the water.

Hans is survived by his wife Ingrid Petersen; step children, Peter Boettcher (Joyce), Thomas Boettcher (Karen), Christine Goldenberg (Howard); grandchildren, Theresa Boettcher, Steven Boettcher (Elisha), Anthony Puglia (Courtney), Lauren Borer (Michael) Emily Amado (Danny), Michael Puglia, and Toni Ann Boettcher; and his sister Edith Heisterman; step brother Hans Christian; and niece Britta Heisterman.
