Harry Feuster, 93, of Orangeburg, NY passed away peacefully on Friday, October 31, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Harry was born in Garbenteich, Germany to Arthur and Emilie (nèe Lind) on September 20th 1932.
Harry immigrated to the United States in 1953 and made his new home in New York. He married the love of his life Juliana (nèe Horper) on July 5th 1958. Together they made a home and raised their family. First in Manhattan, then Congers and lastly in Goshen, NY.
When Harry first came to the United States he worked on his aunt and uncle's farm in Binghamton, NY. He then worked as a Machinist and Maintenance Engineer before establishing his own material handling and mechanical contracting business, Westco Corporation, in 1969. He enjoyed the challenges and rewards of the business so much that he continued to work until he was in his mid-seventies.
He was a member of the German American Club in Rockland and Orange Counties as well as the Senior Citizens Club of Orange County.
Harry enjoyed the challenge of creating and growing his company. He loved to travel, make friends, and spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
He is predeceased by his wife of over 60 years, Juliana, his sister, Else Flick and brother Waldemar (both) of Lich, Germany.
He is survived by his son Perry and wife Mary Jane (Mooney) of Stony Point, NY and his daughter Eva Ruocco and husband Peter of Pearl River, NY. His grandchildren; Michael Reynolds, Erin Murtha (Tim), Eric Feuster (Bess), Ryan Feuster (Tonya Rone), Jennifer Gibbons (Mike), Scott Ruocco (Soeun Kim), Chelsea Ruocco (Bryant Stacy); and his great grandchildren Michael, Riley, Hunter, Madeline, Grace, Nora, Landon and Blaine. He is also survived by his cousins in Florida, as well as many nieces and nephews in Germany and Luxembourg.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, 4-7pm at Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 7, 2025, 11am, at St. Margaret's Church in Pearl River, NY with interment to follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Nanuet, NY.
