Helen Gooler, a longtime resident of Tenafly, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024 at the Atrium Subacute Care Center in Park Ridge, NJ. She was born in Nyack, NY to James and Anne (McGowan) Fears on November 11, 1936 and was raised in Piermont, NY.

Helen had various occupations over the years and her favorite was driving a limousine for Mr. Taxi in Tenafly where she encounter celebrities and personalities.

She was predeceased by her husband Richard and is survived by her sons, John and Richard; her grandchildren, John Jr., Samantha, Steven,Tara and Kristine; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Bryson, Kaylee, Audrey, Austin, Jillian, Michael and Jeffrey; and her brother Patrick Fears.
