Ilse Heinz, 72, of Washingtonville, NY (formerly of Tappan NY), passed away peacefully on August 6th 2024. Ilse was born on February 13,1952 in Pearl River NY. She graduated Westwood High School in 1970 and married the love of her life George in 1977. Ilse worked for many years at Lederle Laboratories before devoting her life to raising her family. Ilse's hobbies included baking and gardening but her greatest joy in life came from spending time with her eight grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters Christine (Timothy), Michelle (William), and Robyn (Matthew). Ilse is also survived by her grandchildren (Peyton, Adelynn, Connor, Jack, Frederic, William, Caroline, and Mary) as well as her brother John, his wife Beth and a niece and nephew. She is predeceased by her loving husband George, her son George III, as well as her parents John and Margaret Heckel. Ilse was an incredible mother, grandmother, and sister and will be deeply missed.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation at Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan, NY from 2-6pm on Sunday, August 11, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday, August 12, 2024 at Tappan Reformed Church in Tappan, NY.
