Jane Helen Strohmeyer, longtime resident of Demarest, NJ, passed on January 19, 2026, at age 95.  Jane was the loving mother of Timothy (Ana), William (Mary Ellen) and John (Gail).  Devoted grammy of Jennifer, Brian, Christopher, Michael, Gregory and Olivia.  She is survived by brother-in-law, James, sister-in-law, Sheila, and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents, Timothy and Loreta McCarthy, her brother, Paul and her husband, William.  Jane and William enjoyed 56 years of marriage.

Jane was a member of St. Joseph's Church where she was an active volunteer for decades.  She was a member of the Senior, Garden and Swim Clubs in Demarest.  Jane also read books to countless school children in Demarest as a literary volunteer.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. joseph's Church in Demarest, NJ at 10:30 AM on March 14, 2026.  Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Tenafly, NJ.
