Jeanette Elaine Johnson, 72, of Englewood (formerly of Cresskill) died peacefully on Monday, August 1, 2022. Predeceased by her father, John N. and mother, Esther. Survived by her sister, Laura Watson, brother in law, Richard L. Watson, nephew, Richard Norman Watson, his wife, Kristen and son, Theodore. Also survived by her numerous cousins.

Jeanette graduated from Cresskill High School in 1967 and continued her education at the NY Institute of Dietetics, working as a diet aide for several years. Spending time with family and friends was aways important to her. One of her favorite places during the summer was the Jersey Shore. Throughout her life, she enjoyed a variety of Arts and Crafts, particularly embroidery and latch hook.

Visitation at Moritz Funeral Home, 348 Closter Dock Road, Closter is on Thursday 6-8 PM August 4th and Friday visiting 10 AM with 11:30 AM Service at the funeral home. Internment to follow at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an organization of your choice dealing with mental health, The Salvation Army, or the United Methodist Church at Demarest.

The family expresses their gratitude to those special people who have provided love and care during Jeanette's life. Specifically at the Community Center for Mental Health, Dumont (1974-2000), Vantage Health System (2000-2015) and most recently, Inglemoor Center, Englewood (2016-2022)
