Tappan, NY
On Sunday, September 5th, 2021, John Ridge, loving husband of Mary for 67 years and father of John and Sally, passed away at the age of 90.
John was born on May 9, 1931 in the Bronx. He graduated from Fordham University. John served his country in the Korean War and was a member of the NYPD for 37 years, where he retired as a Captain.
John was preceded in death by his father, John, his mother, Barbara and his brother, Michael. He is survived by his wife Mary, his two children, John and Sally and two granddaughters, three great grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 13th, 10:30am at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, 120 Kings Highway, Tappan, NY. Arrangements by Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan, NY.
