Katherine "Kathy" Notaro of Blauvelt, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Westchester Medical Center. She was 75 years old.

Born in Queens, NY, on October 24, 1949, Kathy was the daughter of Oliver and Florence Jones. She grew up in Middle Village, NY, and graduated from Christ the King High School.

Kathy is survived by her beloved husband, Angelo; her sons, Andrew and his wife Kersten, and Patrick and his wife Caroline; and her cherished grandchildren, Jackson, Jordan, Jake, Benjamin, and Grace. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Thomas Jones.

Before retiring in 2012, Kathy worked for many years as a school secretary in the South Orangetown Central School District, where she was known for her warmth and dedication.

Kathy had a passion for cooking and found great joy in preparing meals for those she loved. Her happiest moments were spent with her family—especially her grandchildren, who brought her endless pride and joy. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at Moritz Funeral Home, 98 Route 303, Tappan, NY, on Sunday, July 27th, from 2 - 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Tappan, NY, on Monday, July 28th, at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Frances de Sales Cemetery, Route 28, in Shandaken, NY.
