Knorowski, Kathleen (née) Whelan of Piermont and Blauvelt passed away on March 21, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Kathleen was born in the Highbridge section of the Bronx on June 17, 1952. She attended grammar school & high school in the Bronx. Kathleen moved to Blauvelt with her family in 1969.  She was a graduate of Englewood Cliffs College and Dominican College. Prior to her retirement in 2016, she was employed by the So. Orangetown School district for many years.

Kathleen is survived by her husband Daniel, her son Kevin, her brother Kevin (Linda) and sister Maureen Fallon (Michael).  She was predeceased by her parents Kevin & Kathleen Whelan.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Catharine Church in Blauvelt on Saturday March 25, 2023 at 10am. with burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne. Visiting will be  at Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan on Friday, March 24th from 4-8pm.
