Kevin R. McAndrew Sr., 76 of Pearl River, NY passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday March 6, 2025. Born on February 21, 1949, Kevin hailed from the Bronx and moved to Blauvelt, NY with his family in 1959. After attending St. Catharine's, Don Bosco Prep, and Saint Vincent College he settled down with his high school sweetheart Kathy. Over the next five decades, Kevin and Kathy raised a family in Pearl River, where Kevin took meticulous care of his lawn.

Kevin is predeceased by his wife Kathryn of 51 years, his parents Jack and Jackie, and his sister Joan. He is survived by his sons Kevin Jr. (Pam) of New City, NY, and Michael (Susan) of Blauvelt, NY., his brother John (Tricia) and sister Denise (Joe 1947-2019) also from Blauvelt, NY.

Kevin always had a special place in his heart for his extended family including his mother-in-law Dorothy, his father-in-law Robert (1927-2001), his sister-in-law Carol (Hugh), brother-in-law Bob (1957-2007) and his wife Linda, and sisters-in-law JoAnn and Jean (Bill). Additionally, he loved being Uncle Kevin to his many nieces and nephews on both sides of the family.

One of his greatest joys outside of being a lifelong New York Rangers fan was being Poppy to his grandchildren Ryan and Keri. He took great pride and interest in everything they did, their accomplishments, and the extraordinary people they have become.

Last, but certainly not least, was his great friends Bob (1950-2024) and Mary Ann, Richie and Elaine, and Kerry and Deidre. Together, they shared a lifetime of wonderful memories whether in Rockland, Long Beach Island, various casinos, golf courses, and the Knight of Columbus.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 14th from 1-5pm at Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan, NY. A celebration of his life will follow.
