Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on the eve of her 89th birthday after a full and happy life. Lee Ann was wife to Stanley LaValle, mother of three sons, grandmother to eleven, and great-grandmother to three, with one more on the way.
Born and raised in New Jersey as one of five siblings, Lee Ann lived and raised her family in Tappan, NY, before relocating to Manchester, NJ, with her husband in her later years. Lee Ann loved the New York City Broadway plays, musicals, and the Las Vegas shows she attended with Stanley and her friends. Most of all, she loved caring and cooking for her family and was known by many for the grand meals she prepared on holidays. Lee Ann's family and friends loved her dearly, and everyone who knew her will miss her kindness and willingness to help others in need. She asked for little and gave much in return.
Lee Ann is survived by her three sons, Robert, Ronald, and Steven, and their families, her younger brother Evan and her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley, her sister Jane, and her brothers Bill and Douglas.
On Saturday, June 17th, public visitation will start at 1:30 pm, and services will start at 4:30 pm at Moritz Funeral Home at 98 Route 303 in Tappan, New York. All friends and family are welcome.
