Leo Canzoneri, age 91, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2024. Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, Leo lived most of his life in Tappan, NY. Loving husband to Theresa, devoted father of Theresa, Michelle and Leo, grandfather to Amanda, Dominic, Tyler, Samantha and Alex. Leo was an easygoing man of few words who imparted wisdom when he spoke.

Leo served in the Korean War running the motor pool and dedicated many years as a volunteer fireman giving selflessly to the community. He was loved by all that knew him.

Leo relished his time in Florida swimming, sitting on his lanai facing the lake, and relaxing on the beach admiring nature. He had the trip of a lifetime with his wife and relatives in Italy, explored Hawaii, and enjoyed visits with his son in California. Hiking, hunting, auto repair, and woodworking brought him joy. With him, nothing around the house stayed broken for long. He was a master at devising creative solutions to problems.

Leo will be missed but will live on in our hearts forever.
