Lucille Whittaker passed away on August 29, 2022 in Maryland. She was born on September 3, 1929 in Mahwah, NJ, to James and Margaret Starkey. Surviving, in addition to her husband Thomas, are her son, Kenneth Whittaker and his wife, Colleen, of Bel Air, MD; her daughter, Linda Megdanis and her husband, Nick, of Harleysville, PA; five grandchildren, David Whittaker, Kimberly Mooney, Daniel Whittaker, Cristen Wilson and Lindsay Kakouriotis; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 8th from 5-7pm at Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan. A service will be held at the end of the visitation. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Nyack, NY, on Friday, September 9th, at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the American Cancer Society, or charity of your choice, in honor of the deceased ( www.cancer.org ).
