Madeline R. McAree, a long time resident of Manhattan, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born in Manhattan on February 3, 1926 to William and Anne (nèe Rogers) Teaman. Madeline was a devout lifelong parishioner of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Lower Manhattan.

Madeline was predeceased by her husband, Francis J. McAree Sr., who died in 1978. She is survived by her caring children, Monsignor Francis J. McAree, Anne M. Kennedy and her husband Patrick, and Kathleen M. Squilla; and her dear grandchildren, Kathleen A. Stout, Elizabeth Kennedy and her husband Jim Parker, John F. Kennedy, Patricia Swanson and her husband Ryan and Maureen Stout. Madeline was also predeceased by her son-in-law, the late Marino Squilla.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 3rd, 10am at the Church of the Immaculate Conception with burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, NY.
