Passed away December 29th, 2025. She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Maureen) Tagliareni and her husband Russell of Washington Township, New Jersey, her son James and his wife Erin Burke of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and her daughter Joan Williams of Huntington Beach, California. She is also survived by two sisters in Ireland, Nancy Flanagan and Bridie Murphy. She was predeceased by her husband Patrick, her parents, James and Nora Prendergast, sister Kathleen Lennon of Ireland, brother James Prendergast and his wife Maureen of Ireland. She also is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Born in County Mayo, Ireland, Mary immigrated to the United States in January, 1951 at the age of 19. Since 1969, she was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Tappan, New York, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and attended daily mass for 30 years. Mary was a member of the Tappan Seniors.
