Mary C. Collins passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 19th. Mary was born on August 17, 1932 in the Bronx, NY to Edward and Katherine (née Crotty) Casey. Mary is predeceased by her beloved husband of 56 years, Denis and her brother Edward Casey. Mary was a graduate of Aquinas High School and worked for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in Manhattan until the birth of her children. Mary moved to Tappan, NY in 1967 where she raised her family. She was a proud parishoner of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in Tappan for 57 years. Mary worked at Tappan Zee High School and then had a long career at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, NY until her retirement in 2013. Mary was a proud member of the Piermont Seniors. She loved to travel and she and Denis travelled to Europe each summer. Mary is survived by her children Deirdre, Denise, and Kevin (Margaret) and her grandchildren, Katie and Billy Collins.
