With great sadness we announce the passing to her eternal reward, Mary Catherine Connolly, (nee Collins), of Closter, who died peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved Wife of the late L. Robert (Bob), dearest Mother of Lawrence (Eileen), Karen, Mary (John) McPartland, Clare (Joseph) Mongelli, Thomas, Patrick, Madeline (Larry) Burns, Margaret Brandes, Michael, Noreen (Thomas) Kahn, Canice Prince, Robert (Stephanie), Bridget Taylor, and Peter (Patricia).

Cherished Grandmother to 24 grandchildren and Great Grandmother to 18 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by her parents Peter and Catherine Collins, her husband Robbie, of 71 years, daughter Karen, sons-in-law Harry Brandes and Kenneth Taylor. Also predeceased by her brothers Michael James (Janet), Thomas, Peter (Helen), John (Eileen), and sister and brother-in-law, Madeline and William Fogarty.

Born in NYC on September 24th, 1927, a graduate of Cathedral High School, worked for Metropolitan Life until her marriage. A devout Catholic, member of the Altar Rosary Society, Founder of St. Mary's Piety Shop and later worked for Spectrum for Living.

The daughter of Irish immigrants, she loved her Lord and the Blessed Mother, her family, her heritage, and the USA.

Her light and legacy will live on. A special lady who will be sorely missed.
