It is with loving remembrance and gratitude for a life well lived, that we celebrate the life of Mary, a devoted self-reliant mother, grandmother, sister, nurse, and friend whose kindness, courage, and vibrant spirit touched all who knew her.

Mary lived life to the fullest, finding joy in dancing, church theatre, playing the piano, learning French, traveling, attending her social community groups, singing karaoke, and celebrating her German Austrian, Czech, and French-Canadian heritage. She took pride in her profession as a nurse and her dedication to caring for others, especially her pediatric patients, with compassion and grace.

She treasured her family, friends, and beloved cats, and brought warmth, laughter, and adventure wherever she went.

Mary leaves behind her loving children, Marie, Peter and Bea, Julie, and Linda and Mike; her cherished grandchildren, Zie, Luis, Oriana, Vivienne, and Sienna; her step grandson, Adrian; her brother Joseph; and many dear family members and friends.

While she will be dearly missed, her legacy of love, service, friendship, and strength will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Ovarian Cancer Foundation.
