Dr. Oscar F. Muscariello, 92, of Closter, passed away on September 14, 2023. He was on Born May 2, 1931 to Victoria and Aristide in Cliffside Park New Jersey, Oscar lived a most extraordinary life, gifted in so many ways. He was a scholar, an educator, a theater director, a navy veteran, a genius, a magician, a ventriloquist, an artist, an author, a poet, a musician. More importantly than these incredible gifts he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and trusted friend. Bigger than life was Oscar, leaving an indelible impression wherever he went. He will be missed deeply by all who knew him. He is survived by the love of his life for over 75 years Mary, née Esposito, his loving daughter Victoria Zutell, and her husband Michael, his son Aristide and his wife Barbara, his adoring grandchildren Alicia, Julianna, Michelangelo and Aristide. Oscar touched peoples lives and they were better for it. That is a rare talent and he was amazingly talented. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 4-9 pm at Moritz Funeral Home in Closter, NJ. Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Friday, September 22, at the Moritz Funeral Home in Closter,NJ.  Entombment will be at Garden of Memories, Washington Township, NJ.
