Patricia ‘Pat’ Ann Cooke entered into her eternal rest on April 3, 2026 at the age of 92. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother as well as a friend to all who knew her. She is survived by her five devoted daughters and sons-in-law, Maureen and Kevin Morrison of Orangeburg, NY, Mary Jane and Michael Kovall of Tappan, NY, Anne Cooke and Zsolt Golenya of Franklin Lakes, NJ, Jeannine and Anthony Hernandez of Chester, NJ and Kathleen and Martin LaRocca of Landisville, PA. Pat was also survived by her 20 adoring grandchildren and 18 adoring great grandchildren as well as her brother Al Moore. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Arthur Michael Cooke who was her beloved spouse of 63 years, her daughter Laura Jean Cooke, her siblings Virginia, Frank, Daniel, Robert, Marion and her parents Dorothy (Conant) and Albert Moore.
Pat was born on April 10, 1933 in Gloucester, MA and lived in Orangeburg, NY most of her adult life. Pat was a nurse who took loving care of aged nuns at St. Dominic's Convent in Blauvelt, NY and also was an aide in different capacities at Tappan Zee High School. She was a woman of great faith and a parishioner of St. Catharine's Church in Blauvelt. She loved to travel and traveled the world with her late husband Arthur. She was always up for an adventure in a foreign country or a relaxing cruise in the Caribbean.
She loved her family deeply and invested her time and energy in raising five daughters. She loved her seniors club and all the trips/activities they had. She always saw the good in people and was a great support to her family and many friends.
Pat will be greatly missed by her adoring family, friends and community.
