Closter resident for 59 years, formerly of the Bronx. Passed away on April 11, 2024 surrounded by family. Wife of the late Donald T. Merritts, Sr. Dear mother of Donna (Fred) Giannetti, Marianne Lamb, Donald T., Jr. and Gerard (Jennifer). Adored Nanny of Matthew Giannetti, Lauren Giannetti, Alison Merritts (fiancé Patrick), and Madeline Merritts. Also survived by brother-in-law Robert Merritts and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Ann Breheny and Mary Rowan. Longtime employee of Semegran and Associates. Member of St. Mary's Mr. & Mrs. Club and Closter Seniors. Family will receive relatives and friends on Friday May 3rd at St. Joseph's RC Church in Demarest, NJ at 10 AM with a Mass at 11 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pat's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
