Peter J Lupoli 91, of Closter New Jersey passed away on Monday May 25th, 2026. His life was marked by an unwavering dedication to his family and close friends. He was always there to help anyone at any time. He never met a stranger and will be remembered for being a kind and generous man to all.

Peter was a proud Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired Diesel Mechanic working the night shift at Dellwood Milk in Yonkers NY for over 30 years. He was so talented as a mechanic he could fix most all mechanical challenges that came his way.

His lifelong hobby was raising Homing Pigeons and taking them to Shows in and around the Tri-State Area. He made many friends through this hobby. He was also a dedicated New York Mets fan watching every game he could.

His true passion was the life he shared with his late wife Marie. They were married for 50 years. They enjoyed going on trips, playing bingo and spending time with their beloved family and friends.

Peter is preceded in death by his beloved wife Marie, and his sisters Joan Buzzi, and Pat Scarpulla (Dom).

Peter is survived by his 2 sons: Charles (Denise) and Paul. 4 Grandchildren: Matthew (Christina), Bryan (Morgan), Jennifer, and Tara, and 1 Great Grandchild: Lucas. His brother Edward (Lynn), brother-in-law Carlo Buzzi, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and Friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Sunday May 31st, 2026, from 4:00PM - 7:00PM at Moritz Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Monday June 1st, 2026, 10:00AM at Moritz Funeral Home. Following the service Peter will be laid to rest at Rockland Cemetery in Sparkill NY.

Peter's life was a testament to the values of family, service, love, and generosity, and he will be deeply missed by all who loved him and had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace.
