Emerson: Richard (Red) McPolin formerly of Harrington Park, NJ died peacefully on February 16, 2026 surrounded by his adoring family.  Born February 20, 1944 at Margaret Hague hospital in Jersey City.  He was a man of remarkable honor.  He lived his life with a sense of duty and integrity that never wavered.   After attending St. Cecilia Hugh school, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps attaining the rank of Lance Corporal.  He was retired from the NJ Department of Corrections.
He will be tremendously missed by his family and friends.  He is survived by his daughter Debra McKenna (Sean), four stepsons; Tommy, Steven, Matthew, Joseph Saxton, 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; his sisters, Catherine McPolin and Mary Roberts and many nieces and nephews.
