Robert Scott Irving passed away July 15, 2024.
Robert was born in Teaneck, NJ, October 28, 1952 and was a lifelong resident of Haworth, NJ.
He attended the Haworth Public Schools and Northern Valley Regional High School, Demarest, NJ. Robert had early interests in nature, scouting and rock collecting but struggled with mental illness throughout adulthood, living with his family throughout.
Robert is survived by his brother, Bruce Irving and nephew Jacob Lichtenwalner. He is predeceased by his parents, James Gordon Irving, Jr., Grace Crowe Irving and sister Irene Irving Lichtenwalner.
There will be a memorial service for Robert at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Haworth, NJ. 1 PM on Saturday, September 21, 2024.
