Ronald J. Graney, of Tappan, NY, passed away on August 2, 2025.  He leaves behind his wife of 65 years, Jacqueline; his daughter, Colleen; and grandson, Jacob.  He is predeceased by his son Corey (2010).

Raised in Haworth, NJ, and Montgomery, NY, Ron settled in Tappan after serving in the United States Army.  He worked for Graney Building Material Corporation in Sparkill, NY, for nearly forty years.

In addition to serving his country, Ron served his community as a life-long member of the Volunteer Fire Association of Tappan where he made cherished friendships.  Most mornings in retirement Ron could be found having coffee with his friends at the Firehouse.

Ron was a great guy who loved his family, friends, and fishing.  He also loved ice cream and cookies.  Really, he never met a cookie he didn't like.  We hope that there are lots of cookies in Heaven.
