Roy "Mickey" Mooney

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Roy "Mickey" Mooney, aged 72, born in Staten Island, New York on June 3,1952. Mickey resided in Sparkill, New York for 34 years.

Mickey dedicated his life to his family and had many passions. He was known for his unwavering support of his children in their sporting endeavors, serving as both a coach and always cheering on the sidelines. Mickey had a variety of hobbies, including fishing, building models, and creating with Legos. He was also a model train enthusiast.

Mickey was celebrated for his sense of humor, outgoing personality, and steadfast dedication to his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a loving husband to Helen Mooney, a devoted father to Jennifer Chin, Jason Chin, James Mooney, and Jennifer Mooney and an ardent grandfather to Joseph Mooney, Ava Chin, Tavius Chin, and Gabriella Mooney.
