Family and friends mourn the passing of Ruth A. Vezzetti.  Ruth was born on February 22, 1947 to June Phillips nèe Dietz and Charles A. Vezzetti, Jr.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Palatnik, as well as her brother Christopher Vezzetti.  She is survived by her brother Charles Skip Vezzetti and his wife Linda as well as her sister Elena Vezzetti and her daughters, Stephanie and Caroline.

Ruth grew up in Palisades, New York and attended Tappan Zee High School and Rhode Island School of Design.  Ruth was an entrepreneur both in the restaurant business and as co-owner of RV Iron Works.  She was active in politics as Chairman of the Orangetown Republican Committee and served as Deputy County Elections Commissioner.

Ruth will be buried after an intimate family service with a memorial to honor her passing to be announced at a later date.
