IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas H.
Milidantri Sr.
March 6, 1946 – July 25, 2023
Thomas H. Milidantri, Sr., 77, passed away on July 25,2023.
Tom was born the second oldest of five children to Horace and Theresa Milidantri in Brooklyn, NY on March 6, 1945. He worked at Chromalloy, Orangeburg, NY for many years and retired as a Vice President. He was a genius in the aerospace industry. He developed many patents in his field.
Tom and his wife Elaine were married for 34 years. Their loved sustained them through many medical challenges. Even though Tom started out life with many medical challenges, he not only accomplished his goals, he far exceeded his own expectations. He never let his medical challenges keep him from doing the things he loved like drag racing with his brothers. He formed his love of cars from his father, who owned many antique cars. Tom not only raced Corvettes, he loved his 1955 Chevy Bel Air, which he spent many hours tinkering on in the garage.
Tom became a master airplane radio control builder and his talent for flying the RC airplanes enabled him to compete in competitions. He was one of the founders of the Black Dirt Squadron radio control club, where he made many friends, who became like family to him over the years.
Tom took pleasure in solving problems whether it was a car, an engine, or an appliance. He took extreme pleasure in using his knowledge to teach others. Tom will be greatly missed for his caring, patience, and wonderful sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his mom, Theresa, and his dad, Horace.
He is survived by his wife Elaine Milidantri, his children DeAnna Canzona (Michael), Thomas Milidantri, Jr. (Lisa), Lisa Montagnari (Charles), Amy Delgado (Javier), his brothers Anthony (Carol), Arnold (Barbara), Gerard (Patricia), John Paul (Donna), six grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
