William H. Grayson, 78, life long resident of Alpine, NJ.

Survived by beloved wife Dorothy. Cherished daughters Susan Grayson and Barbara (Peter) Giannuzzi. His siblings Helen (Jay) Sandza, Dayle Grayson, Laura (James) Lawler, the late Marian Bauernschmidt, and the late Marc Grayson. Many nieces and nephews who he adored. Also survived by his beloved Merlin.

Bill honored his 34 years on the Alpine Police Department and retired as Chief. He also cherished his time on the Alpine Fire Department and at one time served as Fire Chief. Bill spent his spare time doing photography, communicating as a ham radio operator, loved his truck and fishing was his passion.

Visitation Wednesday Nov. 16th, 2-5 and 7-9pm  at Moritz Funeral Home in Closter.
